Here you see two examples of how I love to eat. How I would eat all the time if I had my way about it. In fact, I had a third cheese and meat plate Monday night, at La Buvette, and just didn’t take a photo of it.
If you get the chance, check out the meat and cheese at Baela Rose, in Dundee. We stopped in last week after a screening of “The Irishman” at the Dundee Theater for a late dinner. The meat and cheese is great, but so are the house made sauces and nuts and pickled bits. And how pretty is the whole thing?

The second image is of a gourmet “Lunchable” (I absolutely love this) that Block 16 made at last weekend’s Field Blend II, the wine tasting at a bowling alley that I advised you should have attended. It included pistachio pate, jam and mustard, pickles, herbaceous crackers and, of course, excellent cheese. Better than any Lunchable I’ve ever seen.
What can I say? I love a good cheese plate.
